Repair prices include parts and labor to repair all the functional problems your equipment is exhibiting... not just the one you send it in for. And your satisfaction is guaranteed with a one year warranty that covers not only the repair we performed, but any failure that arises for one year after our service. ( Excludes abuse, misuse, liquid spills, power surges, dirty environment, etc. )

Note: If your equipment has suffered a lightning strike or power surge, it's possible that surcharges may apply due to above average parts / labor required. However, we will not proceed without getting your approval, and there is no charge if you decide to not have us repair your unit.

Yes, we really do refurbish your equipment... and thoroughly ! NO WIPE DOWNS!

What's a "wipe down"? Just like it sounds: Most repair facilities just give your phone a quick and dirty wipe down and call that "refurbishing" instead of disassembling and truly reconditioning it. Your phone doesn't sparkle and, worse, the dirt and grime left inside your phone can create problems down the road.

Our low, low prices include refurbishing your phones cosmetically to as like new as possible... including disassembling, cleaning, buffing and polishing. We take the phone apart and meticulously clean every piece inside and out, including the tonepad/keypad and the handset, virtually sanitizing the entire unit. No more grime in the ear/mouth piece of the handset! No line of crud along the gap between where the top housing meets the bottom housing! Then, we thoroughly buff and polish the entire unit... even the handset cradles (where the handset rests on the top housing when the phone is not in use)... resulting in a clean, gleaming, fully reconditioned telephone. We put our warranty stickers on the bottom of the phone, out of view... and without our name on them. Finally, we package the phone in a new box, along with new paper and new cords.

What about missing accessories? Damaged / discolored plastic?

WHY IS REFURBISHING SO IMPORTANT?

Having your phone truly refurbished --- not just wiped down --- doesn't just make it look pretty... it can actually add years to the life of your phone.

After years of use, gunk and grime settle into the phone. You know, all that yukky stuff: dust, dirt, sneezes, makeup, smog particulates, earwax... we've even found roach eggs and mold.

Besides being unhygienic, this material can affect the performance and life of your phone. For example, as it accumulates in the tonepad / keypad (where the buttons make contact inside the phone), a microscopic layer of grime can make buttons malfunction intermittently. The forces you to you push the buttons increasingly harder. Unfortunately, the harder you push, the more the contacts wear, and the more they wear, the less contact is made. So you push harder... until over time the buttons become too unresponsive and your phone fails.

Most repair facilities will give your phone just a quick and dirty wipe down and call that "refurbishing". The only time they open your phone is to repair the electronic problem. But even if they were to polish your phone, the dirt and grime left inside your phone can create problems down the road.

At QPTT, though, we completely disassemble your phone and clean and sanitize it inside and out, including the dialpad / keypad. Then we buff and polish it completely.. even the handset cradle where the handset sits on the top housing!
