Note: If your equipment has suffered a lightning strike or power surge, it's possible that surcharges may apply due to above average parts / labor required. However, we will not proceed without getting your approval, and there is no charge if you decide to not have us repair your unit.

ARE PARTS EXTRA?

NO! The cost of all electronic parts needed to repair your phone equipment is included in the flat repair price. However, when it comes to replacing missing / damaged accessories (such as basemounts, buttons and keycaps), we do charge a nominal upcharge. Details...

AM I STILL CHARGED IF YOU CAN'T FIX MY PHONE?

NO! If you send us a phone with excessive damage (rare), we'll give you three options: (1) we can repair your equipment at an upcharge, or (2) we can sell you a replacement unit, or (3) we'll simply return your equipment to you "Uneconomical for Repair" (UFR) at no charge... and we'll even pay for return shipping.

WHAT ABOUT "NO TROUBLE FOUND"?

If we can't find the problem you report, or any problem at all, we still charge the full repair price. Why? It's a fact: "No trouble found's" are more costly for us to handle than repairs!

If the repair technician cannot initially find anything wrong with your equipment --- especially the problem you report --- he must actually devote more time (and sometimes parts) than a normal repair in which the problem shows up immediately. The tech must determine: "Is the problem delayed?" "Is it intermittent?" "How loaded down must the system be to get this item to fail?" "Am I missing anything?" To do this he must run the phone continually (for days, sometimes weeks) and has to constantly check and recheck in an attempt to duplicate the problem you've reported or any other problem. In some cases, he'll replace parts that he knows may repair the problem you've reported... even though he could never duplicate it.

Of course, we still cosmetically recondition your phone, and it still has a one year warranty (other than abuse, power surges, etc.)

If your "no-trouble-found" equipment still exhibits the same problem when you get it back, we will gladly make another attempt to duplicate the problem and repair it, but we strongly recommend you troubleshoot your own system again to assure yourself that the unit you've sent to us is indeed defective. WE DO NOT REFUND RUSH CHARGES OR REPAIR CHARGES FOR NO-TROUBLE FOUND's.

WHAT ABOUT MISSING / DAMAGED ACCESSORIES?

Most of our customers want their equipment returned to them as complete as possible. If your phone 's accessories (e.g., handset, basemount, plastic lens, directory tray, buttons) are missing or are damaged beyond repair, we'll automatically replace them at a nominal surcharge. Because of the many brands and models of phones we handle, we don't provide a pricelist for these surcharges. Our customers find these surcharges reasonable, but if you want to know what they are ahead of time, feel free to e-mail us. Please note that we can't guarantee the availability of replacement accessories.arged the full repair & refurb price if we can't replace a missing accessory.

WHAT ABOUT DAMAGED / DISCOLORED PLASTIC?

We try to keep replacement plastic on hand, but due to the fact that we handle over 2,200 different telephones (combination of models & colors), we can't guarantee the availability of replacement plastic or accessories. Depending on availability, we'll replace damaged or yellowed plastic at an upcharge after contacting you with pricing for your approval.
